If you've recently gotten engaged, one of the best ways to invest in your soon-to-be marriage is premarital counseling.

Sessions involve not only learning the skills a marriage needs, but applying them as well. It's through that practice that important habits form, and they carry your relationship forward with health and vibrancy over the long term.

My desire is to see every couple I work with build the foundations for a healthy marriage, and enjoy each step of that journey.

  1. Initial consultation

    We find a day and time that works for you both.

  2. SYMBIS assessment (optional)

    An online assessment for couples, about $35 one time.

  3. 4 to 8 sessions

    Weekly or every other week, 50 or 90 minutes each.

  4. Practice, not just theory

    You apply each skill, so healthy habits form.

Eric developed a CLEAVE-based approach to help premarital and married couples build greater intimacy in their communication.

Alongside it, he has extensive training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and a Level 1 certification in Gottman couples therapy methods.

Premarital counseling generally takes 4 to 8 sessions.

What is SYMBIS?

SYMBIS (Save Your Marriage Before It Starts) is an online assessment couples can choose to use. It has a one-time fee of about $35.

Can we do it online?
